    Shannonyocum, Talk to the professor first!! Make sure if you have to withdraw that it does not affect your financial aid. I took it in the Summer and it was AWFUL!!!! It is very intense and the material is covered VERY quickly. As long as you can devote ALL of your free time to the course during the Summer, then do it!
