I went ahead and emailed him today. I just couldn't shake the feeling I needed to tell him asap. I was really stressing about it. So now I am waiting on his reply. At least I feel better now that I am not hiding anything. Still kinda worried about what he is going to say.... Thanks for all the advice!

Also he may already know. I just interviewed a week ago and my baby bump is really starting to show. Just don't want to start off my first job on the wrong foot!

Thanks for the advice. I think I will call him next week and see if we can schedule a meeting :) Almost everyone I talked to prior to my interview told me not to tell. Even the HR lady who offered me the job today told me not to tell even now. But I just feel like I am being deceitful.

Today I was offered and excepted my first job as a nurse yay! I am so excited to start! I am just so conflicted about when to tell manager about my pregnancy. I am 23 weeks pregnant today. I didn't mention it at my interview. I will be starting on Aug. 12th 2 weeks if classroom orientation. By the time I actually start on the floor I will be 29 weeks pregnant. Idk if I should email him now about it, email him after I start orientation or just wait until I actually see him when I start in the floor.

Ok I am 22 weeks pregnant today. Am a new grad looking for my first job. I had an interview today and I think it went really well. I am set up to job shadow tomorrow and if all goes well hopefully I will get a job offer. My question is when do I tell them about the pregnancy?

A little background, I currently work for a hospital in their nutrition department. In April I started applying for nursing jobs about a month before graduation. I got a call from a nurse recruiter rather quickly. She told me that as soon as I graduated she would start scheduling me for interviews and that my chances for getting a job within the organization were good as the last couple years they have been able to get jobs for all internal new grads. In May I graduated and in June I had 2 interviews and did not get either position. I am scheduled for 2 more interviews but I am starting to get discouraged. Is it normal to have so many interviews before being offered a job?

I am just worried if I don't say anything and do get hired that when they do find out they will be mad. I don't know if that is the best way to start out my nursing career.

So I have an interview Wednesday. I am 17 weeks pregnant. I am worried this will influence the nurse managers decision. I also have yet to take the NCLEX because I have not received my ATT #. I plan on taking the test as soon as I get my #. So if all goes as planned I would be able to start in July and work up until delivery, my due date is Nov. 11. I just don't know how to approach the subject during the interview. Any advice?

Hi I just finished my first year of an ADN program, so I have some clinical experience but j have never actually work as a PCT. I will be interviewing for several PCT jobs soon. What should I expect? I really hope to get a job as a PCT to gain more patient care experience before I graduate :)
