I recently been kicked out of nursing school for not passing my med.calculation quiz. Passing score was a 90 I got a 88. So now for two points I have to wait a whole year to go back into my med-surg 1 class. Since than I went to my 5 stages of kubler ross grief process and I'm slowly learning to accept it, but it still hurts a lot because i knew how to do med. cal and was A student in my previous nursing courses but I guess the lack of sleep and stress that day got the best of me, but I realize in med. cal there are no rooms for errors because you will be dealing with people lives. Which brings me to my point today, I recently been thinking about getting my CNA certificate, so I can get some experience during my year off. The only thing is my bf and mother don't want me to go because they want me to take this time that I have to study like I was still in school, and they don't want to me to be distracted with working and stuff. What should I do, I really think me getting some experience will be good for me in the long run, but I do understand where my love ones are coming from with studying since I have all my med-surg 1 ppt and hopefully med-surg 2 as well.
