  1. I've noticed that some applications (school nurse application, preliminary school nurse credential) ask for a photocopy of a valid registered nurse license. I am licensed in California and they no longer give out physical cards of our nursing license. How do I obtain one? Do you go to Breeze and choose verification letter? Wondering if that's correct because it does not ask for my mailing address.
  2. is this for the fellowship or new grad program?
  3. Ohh were there multiple days to choose from as well? I applied for OC! St. Joe’s as my first and St. Jude 2nd
  4. Hi! Yes I applied for the April 2021 cohort! Have you heard anything back yet? My application was last updated on 1/16 "Thank you! We have received your submission"
  5. @socalnurse101 I applied for the fellowship program too! Did they reach out to you via email or did they call you for an interview? Also if you don't mind me asking, when is your interview date? I applied for the L&D department but haven't heard back yet. I remember the app said interviews would be early Feb. Did your application status change on the website too?
  6. Thank you! Yeah it's weird I noticed they added the additional requirements, but they haven't updated the new cohort dates. So at first I thought I missed this with the applications from September. Good luck when you start in January! I actually hope to go into OB too, so hopefully I get it this second time around!
  7. Thank you! I guess it's a new requirement for the next cohort then because I could have sworn I didn't see those requirements last time! For the 5 professional references, do you know if assistant nurse managers count, or does it have to be a manager?
  8. @PsychRN138 I'm looking at the program requirements again for the TIP and Fellowship program? Did you turn in 3 letters of recommendation and a letter of intent in addition to a cover letter?
  9. No I haven't... I sent an e-mail yesterday. I was hoping that too, but I made a forum for the fellowship program and someone responded yesterday they interviewed and got a job offer
  10. @MurseRN1996 I e-mailed someone but I'm not sure it's the right person. The only contact email I could find among the emails I got was for Anne. Is that the same for you?
  11. No I haven't...I applied to St. Joseph of Orange and St. Jude. How about you?
  12. @Michellestudentnurse do you mind sharing the contact email? I checked my emails and there’s no recruiter contact info ? The email sent to me for the one demand interview was from a no reply email address.
  13. @Michellestudentnurse where on the website did you find the recruiter email? I went to the site where you do the on demand interview but still couldn’t find it. I’m trying to reach out to the recruiter in St.Joseph of Orange.
  14. @PsychRN138 thank you so much for the info. Do you happen to know the contact email or number of the recruiter? I applied to St.Joseph in Orange as my first choice too. Since my status hasn’t changed I want to follow up with the recruiter.
  15. @PsychRN138 also what location did you interview for?
  16. @PsychRN138 I haven’t heard anything back yet...My status still says being reviewed by recruiter. What kind of questions did they ask? Were they general questions or specific to L&D? Also could you tell me when you turned in your on demand video interview? I was hoping I still had a chance since my status wasn’t changed to declined ?
  17. @MurseRN1996 I applied for the fellowship program but haven't gotten anything new since I submitted my on demand interview. My status still says "Being reviewed by recruiter", but it's said that since I turned in my application prior to doing the on demand interview. Have you had any change in your status?
  18. @grpyrRN Good luck! When you were choosing your interview, did they have dates listed to choose from through mid November as well? Haven't heard anything back yet and I'm wondering if all the interviews have already been booked ?
  19. @grpyrRN When is your interview if you don't mind me asking? I applied for the fellowship program and in the job description it said interviews would be scheduled for mid october to November. Is that what it said for the TIP program as well?
  20. Has anyone else applied to the fellowship program for experienced RNs at Providence St. Joseph? I know there's a thread for the TIP program for new grads, but wanted to start one for the fellowship program.
  21. Has anyone who applied for the fellowship program heard back for interviews from Orange County yet?
  22. I applied for the fellowship program in Orange County for experienced nurses.
  23. What’s the difference between getting an on demand video interview and self paced text interview? I got an invitation to complete the on demand video interview. Also the original deadline date for it was 10/30/20, but just yesterday I received an email that stated the deadline moved up to 9/28/20, so I turned it in. Did this happen to anyone else?
  24. Thank you so much! It was really encouraging to read this. Do you have any other tips when it comes to cover letter writing? So far for my cover letter I want to express my interest in working in medsurg as I am ready to provide more intensive physical care for patients, my charge nurse experience, and that by working with the mental health population I will take this knowledge and skills to the medsurg floor as so many veterans have both physical and mental health needs to be addressed. Do you have any other suggestions in terms of what to best include in a cover letter for a nurse transitioning from psych to medsurg? Also, during the interview what type of questions are typically asked? I remember when I was interviewing for new grad positions the interview questions were situation based such as "tell me about a time you had a stressful situation at work" or "describe a time when you and to act quickly". As you know my only experience in nursing so far has been mental health, so I was wondering if the interview questions will still be situational based, or if specific medical scenarios will be given instead?
