The paperwork that was given to us at time of interview said calls to me made Mon Jan 23rd. When I left my interview on Tuesday, I was told I would hear something by Monday..was anyone else told this?

KeepDreaming RN, I'm so happy for you! Congrats on your acceptance to the school in TX! And yes! God does work in mysterious ways and I believe He wil place us all right where we need to be, be it MT or not. I do know this interview was a learning experience for me and I am humbled after it. If you don't mind me asking..why do you feel your TX interview went terrible?

I interviewed on Tuesday! My interview was at 1050 but I got there about 0915. Were you there in the lobby at that time?

I know! I want us all to get good news and be classmates! Did you or anyone else use their 2nd lifeline for the scenario session? Because I did! I'm glad I did to bc my second choice made me feel much more comfortable

Thanks for the encouragement! Honestly, I'm really not sure how that went. I hope I gave the answers they were looking for. I know I answered one question wrong. So we will see Monday! The wait is the killer!! I did get questioned about my GRE score though.

Did you get the opportunity to take a tour and go over financial? Did they ask you many non clinical questions? And about a lot of drugs? I surely hope we are classmates come July! So you have heard of ppl getting notified as early as two days from interviews?

KeepDreaming, did you interview today?? If so, how did it go?? Was it as scary as we are all thinking right now? I know your are probably mentally drained with two interviews back 2 back! Good opportunities though!

I'm needing more months to studying too!! I'm coming from AL. So it's abt a 3.5 hr drive for me. I have read a lot of forums and it seems as MTSA loves Candy students so this maybe a +1 for you! Good luck and come back to let us know how your interview turns out.

What is everyone using for the reviewing of drugs and their actions at the cellular level? I have a Pharmocology book by Lippincott that I'm have been reviewing, recommended by a pharmacist and it is veerrrry broad... Hope everyone had a Happy Holidays!!

I am so excited for all of us!!! Has anyone been able to call and set the date for interview yet? I know it's not even 24 hrs after invitation and we have until Dec 15 but I kinda want the setting the date part behind me!

BSNQ0717 I know!! Feel the same way. I keep reading email over and over to make sure I haven't missed anything. I tried to call arrange the my date but I didn't get any answers. I'm not sure if they are even open today with the holiday coming up. I have been trying to make a study guide with the drugs I mentioned in my app along with a couple others. I have been reading and reviewing my CCRN prep info so I'm going to start with that. I also have a book that I reviewed when I received my Fundamentals of Critcal Care Support certificate and it has good information about blood gases, vents, etc. I just really can't believe this is happening right now!! What about you? Do you know of any good resources for drugs mech of action? I have a slew of questions as well!!! Ask away!!!

Hi guys! I believe emails are out about interviews!!! I just received an invitation! I'm super excited and nervous! Anyone else heard?

I think we will receive an email either way on Nov 21 or 22 which would be one day after the committee has met and decided who will interview. But with all those applicants it may take a little longer than anticipated.

Yep! That's it..submit button hit..payment made. I actually thought the deadline was 10/31, I didn't know it was extended to 11/4. I think it's more than 240 applicants:nailbiting: I literally check my email everyday all day...check forums everyday all day and try to refrain from calling the coordinator everyday, sad I know. But I am a complete nervous wreck and I have tried to shift my focus to researching other programs to apply to but it doesn't work lol. I really like MTSA and I think it will be a great fit for me. I probably should be taking this precious time to prepare to possibly retake the GRE but I really don't think there is anyway for me to even pretend to study.

Yes! Same here..extremely nervous..I know that if I don't get in this time I will need to take a graduate course before I reapply:(
