  1. I didn't get a response yet either - if I don't hear back by early next week, I'll shoot her another note.
  2. I got into the accelerated too - congrats everyone!!
  3. @whatawaste - maybe you should be excited! it seems really inefficient to contact everyone that has applied, unless, of course, there are a minimal number of applicants this year. in previous years there have been upwards of 800 applicants, but only 250 had all of the pre-req's. maybe they only had 200 this year and even fewer fit the criterion..? btw, do you mind sharing your GPA and NLN score? has anyone from the generic pathway been contacted at all?
  4. I've only applied to Hunter so far, but if that doesn't work out, I'll be applying to many more programs for spring, summer and fall '14 starts. Has anyone heard of Hunter reaching out to applicants to verify all pre-req's will be completed this spring?
  5. It seems like everyone else is finding out about acceptances for other schools - hoping for next week with Hunter. Any guesses on when we'll hear decisions??
  6. I've applied to the accelerated track, and even though there's a slim chance of getting in, the wait is still the toughest part. Did anyone else apply to accelerated? Good luck to all!
  7. Whatawaste - did you apply for the accelerated program?
  8. Any newcomers applying to Hunter's accelerated program?
  9. That's a stat I haven't heard before - where did you get the info about in vs. out of state? The Hunter site doesn't have much in the way of program/application/acceptance statistics... I think everyone is aware that its an extremely competitive program, but per previous threads, if you ace the NLN and have a decent GPA, there's a chance you'll be accepted. And with the addition of two pre-reqs late last fall, I imagine the applicant pool will be slightly smaller for fall 2013, but definitely still full of top-tier hopefuls.
  10. Hi DoGoodThenGo- Thanks for your insight - it's always interesting to hear other perspectives. Out of curiosity, you really don't think the introduction of two new pre-req's late last fall would reduce the applicant pool for this coming fall?
  11. Yes - stressful indeed. Good luck studying for the NLN. I'll let you know if I come across any vocab studying tips :) Did anyone else apply for Hunter's accelerated program for this fall?
  12. Hi eca2493! I am also taking the NLN at the end of the month, so I'm afraid I can't help with study tips as I'm struggling to fit it all in myself. I can't wait until it's over!! Are you taking genetics and nutrition now or did you have them already? I wasn't sure I'd be able to get all of the pre-req's done before the deadline with the two new additions last fall - I was so devastated when they were added. Hope it wasn't as stressful for you!
  13. Hello everyone! I submitted my application for Hunter's A2DP program last week. Has anyone else applied?
