  1. It is a question and it is a statement. It is an invitation to discussion. I think there is a serious conflict: necessity to work in teams versus cultural values. I find some people, no matter what, resistant to working in teams. Do you know any "effective persuasion"? Personally, I do not believe something like this exist.
  2. I will not give it undiluted. Thanks. Grushenka
  3. Thanks, Tweety. Grushenka
  4. Thank you for focusing me. Have you ever been a staff nurse participating in so called shared governance? If so, do you have any positive experience resisting mandatory overtime or floating? What are the other issues you were trying to fight for to protect nurses and patients? In my humble opinion, the idea of a shared governance might be quite unrealistic in the existing health care system - something like "opium for the people - staff nurses". Grushenka

How do you prepare Phenergan for IV push? Grushenka
  6. Would you like to tell me about your experiences in shared governance? Grushenka.
  7. Would you like to share your experiences in teamwork? It seems to be a necessity nowadays. Is it possible to change the attitude of an individual competition to a group cooperation because it is "politically and practically correct"? In my opinion, it may take a few generation to "drift away" from individualism. It is not easy to change cultural values. Grushenka
  8. I am interested in your opinions about introducing a national healthcare system in the United States. What do you think about introducing free basic packet of healthcare services (e.g. emergency services and annual medical, eye, dental exams)? Do you know anything about national healthcare systems existing in other countries such as Sweden and Germany? I would also be happy to get some information on this issue from abroad. Grushenka
