  1. Absolutely not!!! Lol!! I've already been accepted to Chamberlain College and South University, I know they are "for profit" but tuition is not much more than UC. I have a couple friends who have graduated from Sputh and one who is currently attending Chamberlain with nothing but good things to say about both. I'm from Cincinnati so that's where my heart is, that's why I applied there... So, their loss... I wish you good luck! Let me know how it goes!
  2. Yup....After multiple phone calls, and finally one to the main campus, I was denied. They gave no reason "to protect the integrity of the committee". But I did find out that they use a cumulative GPA and when I was getting my associates degree 10 years ago, I had teenagers in sports, a husband that didn't work and I worked full time plus over time. My goal at that time was to just get through , so my GPA was 2.8, that combined with my BSN of 3.18 is 2.99, and since they are "very competitive", and I had shining reference letters and goal statement and 30 years of Critical Care and ER experience, Im thinking it was the GPA and perhaps my age..... Who knows ...... I see it as their loss. Have you heard anything yet? Good luck!
  3. Has anyone heard from the University of Cicinnati FNP Program for summer 2016 acceptance or denial? My application was submitted for review on November 17, the advisor said it could take 6-8 weeks, not including the holiday time .... I was just wondering if anyone else knew anything. Thank you
