Can/Have you got a job with a degree from WGU?
Thank you! I appreciate your response. That is very true! They are not educated about WGU. WGU is fully accredited so what is so negative about it? I hope to apply soon! Good luck with your future endeavors! Can/Have you got a job with a degree from WGU?
I have done my OWN research. I just would like to hear from WGU graduates who have for a job with their degree. Critical Thinking is something I do very well. I have passed several classes with my critical thinking skills and have done well in my past jobs doing so as well. Thanks for your concern about my Critical thinking skills.I know next time not to even ask on this forum for advice without someone having to say some kind of rude comment.

Can/Have you got a job with a degree from WGU?
I have been talking to a close family friend and I was explaining to her WGU and how great this school sounds. She is currently trying to get into a CSU for Nursing and she said an employer will not see this as a "real" degree because the school its not "known" to any employers ...? She said not to "waste my time" Has anyone who has graduated with a Nursing Degree from WGU got a job with WGU degree? I know its accredited which is awesome. Does it really matter if the school is "known" to get a job as a RN? Hope to hear from any WGU graduates so I can prove her wrong.

Would Western Government be a good fit for me? Pre-Licensure RN Program
I have been at my CC for 2 years now. I will be taking A&P I and Fund of Chem fall 13. Its has been so hard trying to get all my Pre-Reqs at my Community College. I feel like giving up at times. I am still going to try and get all my pre-reqs done and transfer out as soon as possible. I was looking into WGU and it seems like a legit nursing school. I am a single mom who recently gave birth to a Premature Baby Boy. He has been in the NICU for quite some time. I am having a heck of a time with classes. I dont want to give up. My question is should I try WGU Pre-Licensure Program? Should I take my Pre-Reqs first then give them a call? I have no healthcare experience. Would that be a problem? How should I go about my classes if I want to go to this school? I am really interested in this school just need some more info on it. I plan on giving them a call soon.Just thought I'd ask here first :) Thanks for any helpful comment.

Calling all CNA's. What is your typical day like at work?
I'm interested to see what a CNA's "typical" day is like. Also do you work at a Nursing Home or Hospital? Night, day or PRN? Thanks for sharing!

Do employers look at what Nursing Program you went to?
I have just applied to another community college. So now I'm on 2 waiting list. I really have been looking and it's almost a joke. I hope to get in but in the meantime I am hoping to find out more about WestCoast

Do employers look at what Nursing Program you went to?
I am looking into going to WestCoast University to get my Bachelors in Nursing. I have been on a CC waitlist for over a year now. I feel so stuck and trapped. I have spent a lot of time on my pre-reqs to just put on hold. I had very good grades but due to budget cuts they only allow a few students per semester. Would an employer look down at a RN degree through WestCoast University. btw West Coast University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The Baccalaureate and Masters Programs in Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Is it worth over 100,000 to finish in 3 years? Your thoughts please...

Would it be safe to continue as a CNA while pregnant?
I just got hired through a nursing home, night shift. I also recently found out Im pregnant. Would it be safe to continue working as a CNA? There is a lot of physical work as a CNA, or so I've heard. This will be my First time working as a CNA. I got my license a few months ago. My dream is to become a nurse and I don't want to stop here but I need to do whats safe for myself and child. Has anyone worked as a CNA while pregnant? Any Advice would be appreciated!
