This is ridiculous! Application deadline was Jan 15th and still no word on acceptance/denial? What's the deal?

Since the deadline has been extended to March 29th, will those who applied and met the original January 10th deadline receive any preferential treatment? Why was the dealine extended? It might have been nice to know we had an extra 2.5 months to study for and take the TEAS, instead of having to rush and take it while preparing for finals last December. Sorry if I sound bitter, but I busted my butt to get everything in on time, so I'm curious as to why the deadline was extended.

Has anyone else received their supplemental application? The application deadline was Jan. 10th and I know my application to NCAS was complete, but I haven't heard anything from UTHSCSA yet.

Ok, a little confusion here- I applied through NCAS and Mystar is complete. I've seen some comments regarding submitting "offical transcripts" directly to utmb by 2/15/13. Is this necessary? Doesn't utmb receive this information from NCAS?
