  1. Hi looking for information on jersey college. Anyone here attend the school? How is the program? Looking to attend lpn to RN program at Teterboro location.
  2. Recommendation needed for good nursing programs in nj. I currently have my lpn.
  3. Hi my ultimate goal is to get my BSN. I found a private school that has a lpn-BSN program but its expensive. Is it worth it to go straight for the BSN or should I do the lpn-RN bridge first and then RN-BSN?
  4. Hey I haven't received my email yet. Am i the ony one and Should I be worried???
  5. just started my first semester of nursing school. its my second time around, so i am pretty familiar with what is expected. 3 weeks already in the semester and i am having serious regret of doing it all over especially at this school. its a n associate program. i already have a b.a. in a different field. chose the associate route because it was cheap and i figured it was less stressful then doing an accelerated program. however i am feeling like i made the wrong decisions. maybe i should have taken my chances at an accelerated program. at my current school it feels like an accelerated program becasue your are pretty much teaching yourself everything. 3 weeks into the semester should i drop out now or get over my feelings and stick it out??? anyone out there that regret attending the school they chose but still made it out???
  6. Thanks everyone for the posts. Howvever I am confused about the Kaplan. Is it the Kaplan online that you sign up and pay for or is it an actually book. I've seen a Kaplan book but it was more about strategy then questions.
  7. Hi allnurses.com so my professor recommended to practice nclex questions. For those who have taken the nclex or are studying for the nclex, what books have you found helpful. I have read a few post about using the Kaplan book, but which Kaplan book? I am not taking the nclex anytime soon but I would like to start practicing for it and building my critical thinking skills.
  8. great tip- thats what my professor recommended to the class. to buy an nclex book and practice the questions nursing never changes!
  9. yes failing has definitely open my eyes and i realize now the second time around i really have to be dedicated to nursing only not nursing working and hanging with friends.
  10. thank you all for the advice. it was an ASN program. I was thinking the same thing to take courses towards my bsn, however if i fail anymore of my nursing courses i will be out of the program all together. So right now im unsure if i want to spend money towards a BSN program when i am still on thin ice with my ASN.
  11. what school are you applying to?
  12. hi allnurses.com so i am a nursing student at pccc. I didnt look into any other nursing programs when i decided to go there. pccc is very challenging. are there any pccc students who agree/disagree? and for others do you find your program challenging and if so what exactly is challenging about it? I only ask this question because i once heard some nursing programs make it easy for their students to graduate.
  13. Hi allnurses.com I failed my first semester of nursing school nursing 101 fundamentals. I believe it was a lack of studying skills and work schedule, and slightly the school ( it was very unorganized). Now i cant attend back until the fall of 2013. I dont have anymore course to take what should i do on my free time before going back? ive been looking into other courses i can take to transfer to another school. will i even have a chance ? or will i be wasting my time?
