  1. Hey guys! I'm currently an RN in a job that I've been on for 2 1/2 years. I'm really stuck between a rock & a hard place. I've been on the waiting list for day shift since I started at this hospital. I've also been told that I'm going to be oriented to a specialized unit (that I was hired for), and still have yet to be oriented. Ive spoken with management and it seems to be going nowhere. I love my nurses I work with at nights and I love the patient genre that I care for, BUT I HATE night shift. Just wondering what anyone in this same position would do???? Help!! Welcoming any and all suggestions.
