Shortest, least expensive CNA school in North Jersey?
Hello I currently live in Florida. I will be moving back up to New Jersey as soon as possible in order to complete my schooling. I have recently received my Nursing assistant License in Florida after jumping through all the necessary hoops. I called the State of New Jersey about reciprocity only to find out that there is no reciprocity with Florida. I was informed I might be able to get a schooling waiver from the state but after speaking with a representative he told me that is not possible. I also inquired about taking the test without schooling from NJ (this is possible in Florida) he informed me that is not an option in New Jersey. So now it seems like my only option to become a CNA in NJ is to take an approved CNA course all over again but this time in NJ. I understand there are hour requirements that must be filled in order to receive a diploma. I am in search of the Cheapest and quickest CNA school in North Jersey, any suggestions?

Vocational School for RN
Thanks for the insight, it got me thinking- Ill do some research and speak to the area hospitals. I need one more math class to finish my Associates in Pre Nursing at Community college. My GPA is a 2.75 I have a C in my A&P1 and didn't even pass my A&P2 lecture, I was planning on going to the for profit school to get my RN and then take my A&Ps over again to boost my grades while i'm working (hopefully in a hospital), this way I can transfer my community college credits to eventually get my BSN at a reputable four year.

Vocational School for RN
Thinking of attending Brown Mackie College in Miami to get my RN. My grades are poor so I will most likely not get into a nursing program at a traditional school, is this a good route to take? Thanks
