  1. We have to accept by March 18 or our name is taken off the list. I would assume, after this date, is when they will see how many spots they have open and then offer them to the waitlist. GOOD LUCK!!!
  2. very good...if there are any problems along the way I'm sure they will let us know
  3. CON called yesterday and told me that the Office of Admissions didn't have all my transcripts especially the one showing my degree. He said I needed to take care of this right away because it is going to hold everything up for me. I sent them in November so I'm not sure what happened, but I sent in new ones last night! I turned in my letter of intent the same day that I received my admissions letter. They said they were reviewing my file to make sure I had everything. These are my holds. "You may not register until you meet the immunization requirement. Please contact the Student Health Care Center in the Infirmary Building or call (352) 392-1161, option 2. You may not register because the College of Nursing Office for Academic and Student Affairs has placed a hold on your record. Please ensure you have met all College of Nursing semester requirements or admission requirements before contacting [email protected] to resolve this matter."
  4. Sorry ddl77 if i stressed you about about the thickness of the envelope. It was only a casual obseravtion I made when I picked it up. It was literally my first thought. I was a designer in my last career so it is very possible that my training of paper stock, thickness and weight etc came into play lol it's a habit :)
  5. Congratulations to everyone who received their letter today!!! I can't wait to meet everyone. Like ddl77 said sending positive vibes to those still waiting...hopefully, tomorrow we can call each other all classmates!
  6. I'm glad I read on here that it came in a small envelope. I could tell that it contained more than one piece of paper so as soon as I held it in my hand I had a good feeling. I thought "no one takes more than one page to write a rejection letter, right?"
  7. Thanks guys! Congrats PsychNurse13! Now, I have to go and "try" to study for tomorrow's microbiology midterm. One celebratory glass of wine tonight...I need all my brain cells for tomorrow! lol
  8. I'm in Jacksonville and stalked the mailman for about 15 minutes before he made his way to our mailbox! It comes in a regular envelope with a confirmation of acceptance page that you have to send back to them. They must receive it by March 18 or your name is off the list. Once you accept it, you will receive the enrollment and registration paperwork. Mandatory orientation for the program will be held May 7th & 8th.
  9. i wouldn't put too much stock in ISIS. It would be different if people had all the same info and it was crystal clear. It's not. Like I said before...It only means that someone updated some thing for some reason. I'm sure it is nothing more than that. Just part of the process. Keep optimistic docosa! I'm with ddl77...don't count yourself out over ISIS. I was told that they would get their decisions out by the end of this week, BUT that was a couple of weeks ago. Things change. I assumed the earliest we would hear anything would be next week. No need to panic yet....save that for next Friday lol :) Gatorlove, I found the petition on this page: Student Policies and Handbooks » College of Nursing » College of Nursing » University of Florida Download the pdf for S2-01 and it should be page #5.
  10. Yes, this was new for me. I was "Record not found" until yesterday. Then I was no holds until this afternoon. And now I have the immunization hold. I'm not a current student so like you I assume it's because I am new, but I also know we will have to submit a mandatory immunization health history form and registration is blocked until that document is received and accepted. What about everyone else? Any holds?
  11. gatorguy, I just checked my ISIS and I believe i now have the same hold you have. "You may not register until you meet the immunization requirement. Please contact the Student Health Care Center in the Infirmary Building or call (352) 392-1161, option 2."
  12. Joy, I'm not sure if it really means anything at all. It was just interesting/exciting to see some change, but who really knows (beside CON ) In my Reg Prep, my College and Major is blank just like yours. It's my Degree Audit that has "UF NR-NRS 2012" which was new for me as well as my maiden name being updated and Holds changing from "record not found" to no holds. At the very least I know that someone, somewhere updated something for some reason.
  13. GatorLove, I'll post as soon as I receive any notice (fingers crossed that it's a great big, thick envelope:yes:). I'm in Jacksonville so maybe you will receive your's sooner since you are in Gainesville. Maybe you can ask to pick your letter up in person before you leave instead of having them mail it. Just a thought.
  14. I checked my application status on the Office of Admissions webpage and it still says "Your application cannot be located." It's been like that this entire time for me as well. I know when I talked with housing a few weeks ago they told me I was referred status and the registrar's office was waiting on the department. It seems like our post bac applications are handled by CON and if they accept us then they are entered into the system. But who knows....you can read into anything. You're right docosa... it won't be long now! Just knowing changes have occurred on my ISIS has made my day!
