  1. Same here. 44 year old white male with a BA. I found a couple of accelerated BSN programs. 2 years and you're an RN with a BSN. I did not get into one and went ADN route. Another year on line and I'll have the BSN. Most employers want it and are willing to financially assist. Student debt is not something I was looking forward to!
  2. I'm a 44 year old PCT and second year (ADN) nursing student on a gen med floor. Our nurses are not as lazy as you describe, but rude. The patients are nicer to me than nurses, and the patients are the ones who are sick! It makes me question the new ACA model of dlivering "care". I plan on treating everyone, including PCT's, CNA, PCA's with respect.
