  1. I would love to become a CRNA, but I suck at certain types of math. I just do not get algebra, I struggled and barely made it through. I can do 'nursing' math and I used to be a bookkeeper/accountant. Something about all those x's just melts my brain. So before I start trying to make becoming a CRNA a reality, I would love some input on the reality of math in the program. Thanks ahead of time.
  2. I currently work at one of the Health Alliance Hospitals, not in critical care. From what I've heard the internships consist of 4 weeks of classes and 6 months of orientation, but don't quote me. I did some of my clinicals at University Hospital. I was impressed w/SICU 2:1 ratio, i love surgical anything tho. Neuro ICU was also impressive, just not my thing. TUH is a level 1 trauma, teaching, and unionized hospital. best of luck.
