Thank you for all of that. It does seem like a hard job but ever since I was small I've always wanted to help people. Therapy would be just a bit to negative for me so I decided to go for the next best thing when helping save peoples lives. I feel like I owe it to the world to save a few lives out of the ones I've lost. And what better way to do it then by nursing? What specialty did you do? Are there some that are much harder than others? Sorry I ask so many questions... I'm a learner that's for sure! And I know I will need it! I'm excited and ready to get out of high school so I can become a nurse and do something with my life. :)

Are there any entrance exams involved in being an RN? Or even to be an LPN? If so, how difficult are they and what are the most important things I need to study about? I'm most likely going to be taking anatomy and a second round of biology next year or maybe even the semester after this one. Are there any practice tests I can take? If so, where can I find them? Any help would be great. Thanks a lot.

So I'll be out of high school pretty soon (about a year and a half to go) and I want to know a few things. I've been researching diligently, and I've narrowed down that I want to be either a Travel Nurse, or be in trauma and ER. All of this will be done when I'm an RN. But there were so many types it seemed overwhelming. I realize that pay grade differs from state to state, hospital to hospital but I would like to know an average if you can get one. Another thing I was wondering is what do you see on an average workday with the ones I just listed? I'm not squimish so I can handle a little blood and gore. But I would like to know what you see from day to day. The last thing I was wondering what kind of schooling one has to go through to become an RN? I'm pretty smart so I think I can handle anything with the right toutering fro math of course! Also... I could use a friend to... :)

So I graduate in 2 years to college (more like 1) and I want to be a nurse. I want to know a little more in depth about types of nurses, pay grades, what education is needed, etc. I've been doing some research and the main ones that I'm interested in are trauma nursing, travel nursing, and ER nursing. I am planning on becoming an RN nurse. I don't want to go further than that because I feel like that's too much school... Any help would be much appriciated!
