Hi mj1014, I'll be starting the program this Sept for Fall 2013. I would definitely recommend applying as early as possible given that you already have the 9 prereqs completed(at least 1 of the sciences should be done too). Drexel reviews applications based on when you submitted your application. If you read through this thread, you can see those with earlier acceptance notices applied much earlier than the Oct deadline. I applied in mid October and didn't hear back until the end of Jan., a grueling 3 month wait! Just be sure to send in your updated transcripts as you complete your preqs. I live in the area so I personally delivered my application package to Admissions, but snail-mailed updated transcripts and I noticed those transcripts took forever to be "received and processed." For all those mid October applicants, I found out I was accepted sometime last week after calling to check my status!!! :) Super excited to meet you all! I also asked about the HEP B shots since I got them done when I was in grade school and if I needed to get a booster shot or redone. They said to get titers drawn and speak with my doctor to see if a booster is needed but most likely not if original series was consistent. Also mentioned the compliance package would be snail mailed and emailed in the next month or so for those who were wondering. Hope this helps!

Congrats GCKJ01!!! Just wondering who you called to confirm your Fall transcripts were received? I also applied mid Oct and called the general Undergrad Admissions number early last week and they confirmed my Fall transcripts had been processed (finally! ~4 weeks) and my status still says Under Review/Complete. Thanks!!

Hi all! I have been following this thread for awhile and finally decided to make an account :). I want to congratulate everyone that has been accepted so far!! I'm super eager to hear back and am anxiously checking Discover Drexel everyday. I emailed Evan last week before the holiday break and be said they are currently reviewing late September applications. I applied in October and he said I probably should hear back by late Jan/Feb. Anyone else have other news on when we should hear back? I just remember reading earlier that admissions were hoping to deliver a decision for Oct applicants by late December/early Jan so hoping I hear back sooner than later. Here are some of my stats: Undergrad GPA: 3.3 (Psychology) Last 60 hours GPA: 3.7 Prereq GPA: 4.0 (only Microbio left to complete this Spring) I've been in clinical research for 3 + years (volunteer and work) and submitted my CV.
