Well first off I have been working dead end jobs last two years, I am now 22 and really want to figure out what I'm gonna do asap. I am a male I have no problem with being a nurse although I would have few years ago, I am about to start my emt training in few Weeks and can't decide if I should go train to become paramedic or r.n after. Born and raised in NY so my goal has always been nypd or fdny but if that doesn't work out I need a plan. Paramedic I think you guys would agree is not easy by any means to become but compared to nurse easier. If I become r.n then that really is not a backup plan but that is the plan and I will have no regrets not being nypd or fdny,,but my main issue is that I don't know if it will be a waste to become a r.n without a b.s degree, would I be able to find a job as a nurse in NY without a bachelors of science? I appreciate any help I can get.
