  1. Hi Pinta, I would check with the universities in the area before making a decision. I am from Miami and there are several programs available. For example at Miami Dade college there is an accelerated program where you can have your RN in 12 months, but if you go to the university of Miami they have a program where you can get your BSN in 18 months since you already hold a bachelors degree. The BSN is definitely the way to go and if you can do it in about the same amount of time as the RN then I say you should go for it without hesitation. Good luck!
