    I'm currently a student trying to obtain my bachelor degree to be a registered nurse. We are currently on the pediatric floor and I have to give IV meds in front of my instructor tomorrow. I have a 1 yr. 7 mnth. old male who weighs 9.3 kg and the orders are 1 mg metoclopramide and 1 mg odansetron. Are these meds IV push or a continuous infusion? Do they have specific time amount they need to be given over?
