  1. California school nurses, Are you aware that the Supreme Court will be deciding whether non-nursing school staff are allowed to administer insulin to diabetic students? Here is the link to the article: http://www.mercurynews.com/health/ci_23346698/diabetes-california-schools-states-high-court-appears-likely?source=pkg How are school districts in other states addressing this issue? What are your thoughts on allowing unlicensed personnel to administer insulin?
  2. Thanks everybody for the feedback so far. To elaborate, I've been working as a school nurse for the past year-and-a-half and I want to apply forcounty PHN jobs as well as RN jobs at non-profit clinics. Would including my clinical experience from nursing school still be relevant?
  3. Hello, I'm applying for a new job and I've only had 1 RN job since graduating from nursing school so should I include my clinical experience?
  4. I understand in California students must have their healthcare providers sign an authorization for medication form for prescription and OTC meds if taken during school hours. Does the same rule apply for homeopathic medicine?
