I just got my background check clearance on Monday. I haven't been able to reach my employment specialist or the lab. Is this pretty much the same for everyone else? I've left messages for both, it seems like my tasks are going to be overdue.

Gosh.. I'm still waiting for my call/ email that says I passed... Sigh.. So anxious!

I got it and completed it. Wonder how long things take, also it didn't ask for my license number for verification. Maybe because not everyone has their license at this time.

Can't wait to meet everyone!!! anyone else having trouble completing the additional information portion on the dignity health website. I keep getting a message that says a system error occurred!

I got an offer too! So excited! I haven't gotten my offer letter emailed to me nor the background check. Anyone else not receive these items yet?

So anxious to hear something. I loved loved loved the leaders I interviewed with. I also really appreciated the small town feel in the hospital. I was so impressed, they absolutely changed my preconceived thoughts about a hospital in a small town. I could absolutely positively see myself there! Hopefully we hear soon! Good luck everyone!

Thanks Hung! I'll looking to stay under $1000/month, preferably $900 or less. I'm looking to rent an apartment. I don't really mind commuting to the Medical center. I just want to be in an area where there a lot of young people, stores/restaurants are walkable, cool stores, and nice people. Again, either in the inner loop or outside the inner loop. I feel like I know less about the area outside the inner loop, is it more suburbs? I think. Offer a more urban feel.

I was just offered a position in Houston in the medical center. I'm coming from California and trying to find a fun, hip, and still reasonably priced place to live. I'd love to stay in the inner loop, but I'm not sure if that's possible? Are there any young neighborhoods with a lot of young people outside the inner loop? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Micah

I actually just heard yesterday, that I am invited back for an additional interview in surgical specialties. The recruiter was supposed to call me today to schedule, but I didn't hear from her. I'm sure she is swamped, I think she is coordinating everything herself, so I can be patient. Still anxious, I want this so badly!!

I haven't even thought about the relocation portion for the job, and I'm coming from San Diego to interview. I'm excited but it's a trek just too get up to Redding. I'm excited for the opportunity to interview, although I feel like I'm going to go broke with these interviews. I hate to ask, anyone know the salary they start new grad nurses at?
