  1. Sim I see that there have been quite a few responses and questions since I first saw your message. Even in the US,there are different approaches to care as well as qualifications that are demanded by employers. What do you consider your area of specialization,an area in which you have the most training and experience? What type of nursing license do you have in this country? I'm seeing terms in the other responses that I am unfamiliar with. Have you contacted the Board of Nursing in Texas, since that seems to be where you want to practice? I hope you get the help you need.
  2. When I worked as a substitute school nurse and what I can recall as a parent from when my younger children were in school,Parents signed a release at the beginning of the school year for Tylenol to be given;this was optional. This form is probably available in your local school district.Parents may have specified on the health form they filled out at the beginning of the school year whether you could give the other items without calling. Cough drops were pretty routine at a camp infirmary and I think also in schools where I worked.
  3. Hi, Sim;I'm an RN ;signed up for this site just today.Have you considered associating with a support community of people from your country and that they might be able to guide you to employment opportunities?
