  1. Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone out there that works for St. Mary's in Livonia MI know what the probationary period is for a my hire RN? Just found out that I will have to have surgery and I am worried that they may just let me go, I just reached my 90 day mark. I will only have to be off work for 1 week, but then will have lifting restriction for up to 6 months. This was totally unexpected and not how I wanted to start my career. Please help if anyone has any information to share. I'm scared to say something at work just in case they just decide to "cut their losses" if they feel they can't work with a restriction. Thank you!
