  1. Hey everyone! :) I am a second year at a community college in Orange County, and I decided to become a nurse! This is my third semester, and I am still unable to get into any biology and chemistry classes, so I abandoned my dream to apply to UCI or UCLA's nursing program because it's going to take forever for me to finish my pre-requisites. So I decided to apply to all the AA nursing programs in so-cal, yup! But I'm really, really interested in Saddleback's program. So, if any of you are like me - newly interested in nursing and JUUUUST starting to take the appropriate courses, reply here! Sadly, I have not taken anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, or ANYTHING. It's depressing. I know. I'm really disappointed in myself for not thinking about AA programs sooner. Aside from GEs, these are the main classes I have taken so far: Sociology (A), Psychology (A), Speech and Communications (A), Statistics (B), English 100 (B), and English 101H (B) YEAH I have an overall GPA of 3.75 and I have been volunteering at a hospital. I was calculating how many points I can get, and it's in the high 60s, but I want at LEAST in the 70s! Yeah, I have poor self-esteem as you can see, ahaha. I don't know if I can make it anywhere. mhm mhm, okay! Post away :)
  2. Man, you guys make me feel like a loser! My first semester, I took 5 classes: Psychology, Sociology, Human Development, English Composition, and Human Sexuality. My second semester, I took only 4: Statistics, Communications, History of Rock Music, and Philosophy. Now I am taking 4 classes AGAIN: English H, Humanities, Anthropology, and Women in Arts. No science courses, ugh! You guys inspire me!
