  1. I just got hired at a LTC and I just got done with 2 days orientation. I was notified that tomorrow I will be on my own. The hall I'll be on has 40-50 something patients. I'm terrified. I feel like 2 days was not enough but if I ask for more I'm scared I'll get fired. Any tips or advice?
  2. I graduated LVN school back in April 2011. I got pregnant shortly after and couldn't work due to complications. Now, I have a hernia from my c-section and was told I couldn't lift more than 20 lbs. I feel like I wouldn't be good to be on the floor because heaven forbid a patient fell, I would not be able to pick him/her back up! : ( My question is this: Did I waste all that time in school? Is there any type of "desk job" I would be able to get as a LVN?
