  1. @houseblew: how do you feel your interview went? did you happen to get the names of the nurse managers interviewing? I blanked and totally did not remember their information!! Good Luck!
  2. In my interview, the questions were more get to know you and why you want to work at CHLA rather than situational questions. Good luck and keep me posted on how your guys' interviews went!!!
  3. Thanks for the encouragement! So they will let us know about second interviews no later than the 19 of November is that correct? Also, for those of you that interviewed, did you happen to get the interviewers info or send out thank you letters/emails? That is so crazy how many people applied. How does everyone else feel their interviews went? good I hope :)
  4. How did everyone's interviews go? That was my first interview I've ever had and I feel like I blew it. I was nervous and didn't say what I wanted to say. It was like a blackout word vomit, I'm so bummed, LOL. I even forgot to ask when the next rounds would be taken place-- not that I needed to at that point! Good Luck to the rest of you! Know why you want to work at CHLA and what makes you stand out. For the unit I applied to they said that there were over 100 applicants and 20 were going through prescreening interviews. So know that even getting to the first interview is a huge accomplishment! Wish you all well!
  5. Congrats to those of you that made it to the prescreening interview! I also received a call for the PICU. The woman that called to schedule the appointment informed me that it would be a panel meeting with the nurse managers of the PICU. I have a hard time believing that as it is normally the nurse recruiters for the first round right? How are you guys prepping for the interview and what are you wearing? Good Luck to everyone!!
