Hello all, I take my students to a hospital that uses Cerner EMR. The faculty are required to authenticate the entries for our students. This is my first semester to use this, and it seems labor intensive. I find that I have to go through the chart band by band and sometimes line by line to find items needing authentication. Anyone else using Cerner? Is there a better way? We also validate the meds administered, but that side of the system seems to work fine, I click on an icon, it shows me meds with a "pending validation" message and I take care of them. I would like for all charted items needing authentication to be easier to find. Help.
