  1. I've heard that there is some good money to be made traveling to CA to pick up a few shifts. What does an RN have to do to be qualified to get into something like this? Is there a certain amount of experience needed? What is the pay like. Please write with any info on this subject.
  2. As a nursing student on the hospital floor for our clinicals and preceptorship we are suppose to work on our delegation skills while caring for our patient assignment. Such as asking a CNA for help with feeding a patient or having them do vital signs, or needing a LPN to do a bandage change, ect. I'm having trouble with the delegation mainly because I'm finding that the staff is not a receptive of delegation when it comes from a student and they make me feel as though I'm just being lazy. Please help!

I'm wondering if online schooling for my BSN is right for me. Please share your thoughts and experiences with me. Do you feel that it allows more flexibility than traditional schooling? Do you feel that the education from online is adequate? How long does it normally take to complete? Any schools you recommend?
  4. As a nursing student I am having difficult with delegating to LPNs and CNAs. Do you have any advise or experiences to share?
  5. How much experience would you recommend having prior to applying for a ICU position?
