  1. Hello everyone :) I just got accepted to CSUSB's BSN program and start in January. My school is now offering our required textbooks as an e-textbook package as opposed to buying regular new or used textbooks. The E-text package is comparable to buying used books as far as price goes. Have any of you used or currently use e-texts? If so how is it studying from a computer or reader? Would you recommend e-books instead of regular textbooks? While I think it would be quite convenient to have all the texts accessible from a computer, laptop, or tablet which would allow me to not have to lug a ton of books to school and save my back I am also so used to and love real pages. I'm hoping some of you can give some advice. Thanks so much.
  2. My husband is an EMT and just got me the Littman Master Classic II and I love it. He had tried to teach me with just the basic stehoscopes he uses at work and I was having such a difficult time finding the heart sounds because it picked up so much surrounding noise. But when I tried my new one I could hear every sound so clear and loud comparitively. I start my program in January and cannot wait!
  3. New to the thread but just wanted to say congrats to everyone!!! I also got accepted to Winter 2013! I am looking forward to meeting all of you. Just an FYI, I went to the Nursing Department to turn in my acceptance letter and sign up for the CPR class. When I was there they told me there is a limited number of spots so if you are interested sign up asap. It is $45 which is the least expensive I have seen for a BLS CPR class and the money is not due until the day of orientation. Congrats again!!
