  1. Hi all, I was just wondering if where you work, do the nurses that work in the ED get paid more than nurses that work on Med/Surg floors?
  2. I took the NCLEX yesterday and left feeling awful, like I completely bombed it. I was told over and over again from others that it's normal to feel like you didn't do well afterwards. It could be a good sign. If you're getting harder questions, then you're doing something right! Anyway, I found out today that I passed! So, don't feel bad. It's totally normal to feel like you didn't pass when it's over.
  3. I emailed PSC and was told that my projected start will be January 2014! I was told that letters will go out towards the end of September.
  4. I got letters to both Jefferson Davis and Bishop State. I've chosen Jeff Davis. Had a much better experience there with applying to the schools.
  5. Well, good luck. Keep checking your mail. Keep me updated.
  6. I think I had around 140. Not sure though. How about you?
  7. I just got accepted to the Nursing program at Jefferson Davis Community College for the Fall 2013! Just starting a thread to see who else has. I live in Pensacola so finding someone close to possibly car pool would be great, too.
  8. Does anyone know the difficulty of getting into the nursing program at Jefferson Davis Community College in Alabama? I'm getting ready to take the TEAS tomorrow and am really nervous about it. I'm currently taking A&P 1 and 11(fast track). I know acceptance is based on a point system. I guess my question is, how many people actually don't get in? Also, is anyone in any nursing program near Pensacola? I'm just exploring my options.
