  1. I got 133 composite. 96 or 98 math, 80 something verbal, 90 something science. sorry im not sure and too lazy to look for it. i got 4.0 gpa tho. It all depends on the pool of applicants. I heard UH does not even look at your composite. they only pick your highest relative score.
  2. Both of you have a good chance. I applied and got accepted with the similar stats. IIRC UH only looks at your highest percentile in math, science, or verbal. As long as you have at least one area in the 90th percentile, you have a good shot. Good luck
  3. I heard its not as competitive as the ADN program. IIRC around 60 apply and they take 20. not sure though. You should apply for both.
  4. You should retake it if it'll boost your gpa. Every little bit counts.
  5. Congrats to all that got accepted.@mkdickey thanks for the info. Still undecided but leaning more towards manoa.
  6. I got my acceptance letter today!!!! Dont know if I should go the KCC route since its cheaper and they have the 1 year BSN bridge program at UH. what do you guys think?
  7. I was thinking the same thing. If that's the case, ill be getting it later than everyone else.
  8. We got identical stats. There's still hope......
  9. I think your in. Congrats! I'm in the same situation as you. LCC is my home campus. In or not, I hope I get that letter soon.
  10. Are you already a UHM student hcs808? Mine is still the same.
  11. Still waiting. I should receive something by tomorrow if anything. Congrats nikidesu. What were your stats? If you don't mind sharing.
  12. I heard both are considered for admission which sucks cuz my cGPA is not that high.
  13. Yes I did but still waiting on UH. Do they normally take this long to mail it out?
  14. It comes in a Manila envelope. Did anyone receive anything from UH?
  15. i got 86% overall, 99 percentile.
  16. You should get it soon if anything because the acceptance confirmation deadline is on october 29.
  17. I recieved it last week. The letter was dated 10/15/12. Im pretty sure they send out rejection letters. It would be messed up if they didnt. Good luck!!
  18. nothing yet for me...
  19. thanks!!!! @chn2011 I received the intent to register letter a few days after I got accepted into UHM, which was back in august. It should come from the admissions office, not the school of nursing. Mines was due back in october 5. I though about waiting until I receive the acceptance letter from nursing before I sign the letter of intent but Brian warned me that my spot may be given away. What sucks is that if I do not get accepted in the UH program, my deposit is non refundable. @hcs808 I called UH today. They mail it out mid november but I think it should come before that. KCC said mid november as well but I got mines today.
  20. I turned in my intent to register at UHM along with my deposit. Brian suggested to pay for the deposit even though I haven't received my acceptance into the program. He says the intent to register and acceptance into the program are two different things. Even if you get accepted into the program and you didnt send your intent, you wont get in. You might want to call them if its past the due date because they might give up your spot. BTW, I got my acceptance letter from KCC today! Still waiting on UHM
  21. Thanks. Good luck 2 u too!
  22. Wow u got good stats. I got 4.0 pGPA but 3.2 cGPA. My nln was 80 verbal, 96 math, and 92 science. Hopefully that gets me in. I have more chances of getting in at KCC because they only look at cumulative gpa for kcc. Fortunately, my cGPA for them is 4.0.
  23. Did you guys apply for KCC ADN as well? Care to share your stats for both schools. Also do you know how UH looks at NLN scores? I heard they only look at the highest relative performance score. But someone else told me they average it out. im confused. all this waiting is driving me crazy. lol
