Got the phone call I've been waiting most of my adult life for. I've been accepted into the program at La Crosse!!

Found out today that I'm the first alternate for the program. Anyone want to give me the best Christmas present ever and tell me they are turning down their invitation.

I thought it went well. Very nice environment. Students were also very nice. Can't wait to hear if I'll be accepted. Barb said two weeks and we should know. It'll be a nerve racking next couple of weeks!

Well, received my first rejection letter. Guess ill just continue to focus on the schools I have that are interested in me. Not sure I would have enjoyed SD anyhow.

I haven't heard a thing yet either boost. I also thought about calling. Let me know what they tell you if you are able to get ahold of anyone. It would be nice to hear either way because I'd like to know if I have another option or not.

Thanks for the info Marco. I am keeping my fingers crossed to hear something soon. The program sounds very appealing. I have an interview at another school but would like to have more than one so that I have some options or a better chance of getting an acceptance. When you interviewed did they mention how many prospective students they plan on interviewing? When you interviewed were there other students there at the same time waiting for interviews as well? Thanks for all the info!

CpH I never asked but I'm guessing near 30 or 5-6 per day. Wouldn't that be great though if it were just the three of us. Ha! I'm very optimistic. It would be great to stay close to my family and not have to make such a major move. Whatever it takes I'm going to pursue this dream though.

Thanks Hummel. Older threads had comments from people interviewing at mount marty well into January. I think I'll keep my fingers crossed still. I haven't received a rejection letter yet.

Thanks for the info Crizz. Maybe they will give me your spot for an interview :-). Guess I can always hope anyways. No news yet for me. I emailed the admission department and they said interviews would be sent out last week and this week. Guess I'll just hope that it arrives yet tomorrow.

Anyone gotten word on invites to interview at memorial hospital of Rhode Island? Still hoping to hear soon. The website says we would receive a written correspondence regarding our applications within 60 days.
