  1. Financial Aid is contingent on many different factors such as if you already have a degree and how much you/your family can contribute based on your taxes. So i guess it depends on your own situation as to how much aid you will receive from the government. With FINAID, I still have a remaining balance, but I was expecting it so I have been working and saving so that I will be able to cover my remaining amount. I also plan on looking into outside scholarships, and maybe a work study program.
  2. You have to go on the HESI website where you can view your scores online & there is an email address on there where you have to email them a request for your HESI. Once you email them the request, you have to call a number which is also on the site and you have to make a $15 payment with them over the phone. it is very confusing, I had been trying to figure it out for an entire week.
  3. @kdrenee, GO FOR IT!! It's an AMAZING program. I have several friends who attend Chamberlain and so they tell me what they're learning and what to expect and have been helping me through out the process. Um, the application process was not challenging at all. I actually applied on their website, a few weeks later someone contacted me to take schedule my HESI exam. I went in for my HESI exam and got my scores right away! About 3 weeks later, I was contacted again saying that I was accepted and began getting information on the rest of the process. They will assign you an admissions advisor once you complete your application, and this is the person you will constantly be in contact with regarding the process. My admissions advisor was amazing with responding to my emails and phone calls. They truly care and want to make it as stress free for you as possible. @rayrayhaas my GPA is a 3.6, my prereq GPA is a 3.4, my HESI score was an 80. I'm sure it would've been a little higher than that but the A&P portion was SUPER hard for me because I havent taken that class in 5 years. I attended the University of Houston.
  4. Eek!! Thank ya'll so much! I'm currently obtaining my bachelors and I graduate in December. Sadly I'm nowhere near as excited about graduation as I am about starting at Chamberlain. lol! I have heard nothing but awesome things and I cannot wait to experience Nursing School and Chamberlain!
  5. Hello all, I was admitted into Chamberlain CON, Houston Campus for January 2013! I am elated! Just seeing if there are any others on this forum who will be sharing this experience with me!! :)
