  1. Irishliz, Thanks Sorry, to clarify I was not on the OML. I was one of the selected for USAGPAN, but my paperwork was delayed due to an issue with constructive credit. I do hope you and the others on the OML hear very soon!
  2. Hi all, First off, thanks for all the great info/posts(very helpful during this period of uncertainty) I just got the news from my recruiter this am that all my paperwork/scroll has come back and will be signing/commissioning sometime next week. I hope everyone who has been waiting hears some good news soon… it’s been a long and stressful hurry up and wait period for all of us on this forum. Look forward to meeting a lot of you in March.
  3. Still waiting on paperwork but hopefully this week will have a contact signed. Since my constructive credit changed with the Nov board they had to redo my scroll process. Feb 28 for pre-bolc and then March 14 for Bolc has to happen cause i would start school in June.
  4. I'm still waiting to hear back from my recruiter as one of the selected for the usagpan program because they put me through with the wrong constructive credit ....I believe they're are still working to get the selected list 100% confirmed before they open the oml. I've heard from some oml selects last year that they find out late January and even February prior to going to bolc... Hopefully they break that list out soon!
  5. Irishliz thank you very much. I definitely will.
  6. VT, that its true but until I have a confirmation I'm not going to say I'm in. I'm most likely selected for the program and excited as all heck, though! I'm pending further confirmation or whatever they are doing with my app at this point, so I'm just waiting for the final word until I go out and celebrate.
  7. IrishLiz, thanks I'm really hoping that is the case too! I am rooting for you and VT to hear something good about the oml...the Army would be better for it!
  8. VT Irish,I'm not on oml list. My application is still awaiting confirmation . Hopefully will know more by end of day Friday or next week at latest.
  9. I'm still in the dark...i don't know if I'm on any list or what's going on. This its quite frustrating. Anybody else in this position still?
  10. Well that's great news! Yes all the best of luck to everybody
  11. I got a response from my recruiter, but really nothing new to report. Hopefully soon though... We have a full business week ahead so thats good. Keep up on those intervals to pass the time- we all should be able to score 300 on the AFPT after this haha.
  12. Nevermind, I didn't see your previous post Irishliz
  13. Sounds like results are out with some pending on this OML list? Liz was your recruiter referencing the USAGPAN program in his statement of the Army not approving more people? I will hopefully be in touch with my recruiter at some point today and I'll try to get more info on the subject.
  14. VT can you pm? I can't on this forum.
  15. Same here VT, but I bet we will hear Monday or Tuesday...it can't be that hard to find those acceptance letters in our packets.
  16. VT and Irishliz,I've heard the same thing about my packet and why it still says still on board review our whatever while they finalize LTHET issues, so that should be same for everyone applying to usagpan.
  17. Combo, i have to get picked up for army corps as a 66h8a so if i get booted from school they can still use me and also for a spot in the program.
  18. Congratz nursespouse! I'm sorry to hear that armysupport.Hope you find out something soon IrishLiz-your waiting on the usagpan results right? I haven't heard anything yet specifically on the program, but my recruiter said i was boarded as 1LT. I'm not sure what that means exactly so well see as nothing official is posted yet.As far as nursing exp i have 3+ in critical care, ccrn and I'm an acls/bls instructor
  19. I've got a email out to my recruiter this am ....so hopefully he has some news today, but i doubt it will be that the results are going to be posted before the holiday. I'd love to be wrong!
  20. VT, have you been on nurse anesthesia .org? great site for USAGPAN and other CRNA stuffs
  21. Remember we are waiting on the Army... it will take a while. Keep those expectations low on the timeline of things. Army doesn't necessarily equal efficiency in paperwork. Hope it's soon though!
  22. Hey vt, nope nothing yet. I have a feeling it will be a few weeks at the latest. I'm keeping my expectations low (we are waiting on Army paperwork and redtape), so if I hear later this week or early next week I'll be that much more surprised. Good luck with the board and hope to see you next year!
  23. Thanks for posting... but at this time I am unable to send pm's as I haven't posted 15 times....I'm working on it and I will pm as soon as I can. Thanks again...
  24. I agree with missnurse01 CVICU is probably the ideal place for experience...but at the same time other aspects of your resume and application play a role too like ccrn cert, acls instructor which actually is a big one in my experience taking to others that have been accepted (sets you apart)...etc. I'd say try to get onto cvicu if you can but work on other avenues if that's not going to happen.Good luck
  25. Zesta,I was a VALOR in Seattle,Wa in one of the ICU's and it was the best experience to have bar none. It jump started my career as an ICU nurse just like it will do for you in the ER. Good lick to all those applying and just starting.
