Hi! Has anyone went through the VA Long Beach Healthcare System Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) program? If so, how was your experience and are there any pros/cons that you have? I would also be interested in hearing from anyone who works/worked at VA Long Beach to share their experiences on how the work environment is and if there are any general pros/cons to working at this hospital. How long did it take for you all to hear back from UCSD? I interviewed at UCSD Hillcrest and they did not really give me an expected date to hear back from them

Does anyone know how the work environment is at Little Company of Mary Torrance? Also, how does one get more information on their benefits? I know there is a website but it seems like the info is limited when you visit the site as a guest.

Pros and cons of working in LA County Hospitals? (E.g. Harbor UCLA, LAC+USC, Rancho Los Amigos). How are the work environments? How are the new grad RN programs? How do they differ from Private hospitals and reasons why you'd prefer one over the other? I know many people are interested in LA County for the benefits-- but how about if circumstances causes one to leave before the 20-25 yrs for retirement benefits? Any info would be appreciated!
