  1. I received an acceptance letter to Goldfarb and it was stated that I was waitlisted for Summer 2013 and Fall 2013, with guaranteed acceptance into the Spring 2014 ABSN program. I just mailed my deposit check so I should officially be on the list next week. I called today and the woman said there were only about a dozen people on the waitlist for Summer 2013. I have a bit of a unique situation. My husband is in the Army and will be taking an overseas assignment for a year while I (hopefully) make my way through nursing school. For this to work I really need to start in May 2013. Without having an official number of where I stand on the waitlist, can anyone provide some insight on how my chances look to begin with the Summer 2013 term? Also, I've called the school twice to ask questions regarding admission, since I have a very narrow window of opportunity to attend an accelerated program. Anyway, each time the person I have spoken to has been very short with me on the phone and I feel like my questions have been a nuisance. Is this an indication of how the school is run or is it just a fluke? I have also applied to SLU's accelerated program and they have been awesome so far. I feel like if I get accepted to both programs, even with the cost, I will go with SLU just due to the attitude of the people within the administration side of Barnes. Thank you in advance for any insight! :)
