Sad how BON makes us wait
I agree.... its high time the BON had a better system in place so that we can know if we passed or failed right then. Bouts of anxiety, fear, insomnia and confusion for 48 hours or more is brutal.

Graduating and Pregnant
I am graduating from my BSN program in December and will be 13 weeks pregnant then with a due date of June 15th. I am very concerned about the direction to take. Could someone who has been in the same situation help me out. I expect to take the boards in Feb. Ideally, I would like to work in Critcal Care but my concerns are: 1. There will be only 3-4 months between my boards and my delivery date, will a cirtical care position be too rough on my health 2. If I opt for a less stressful unit,, will that be a hindrance for me to pursue critical care in the future 3. Should I tell the recruiter that I am pregnant before they hire me. Please advice. Thanks

Where should I start?
I'm a first year nursing student since I have scaled down to part time in school I want to persue more clinical experience. During my clinical rotation this semester I realized that teachers make all the skills look easy, but when its time for me to do some skills I shiver and lack confidence. I need suggestions as to where should I start my clinical foundations since I have no previous experience I have to get working to gain confidence. Some said the best place to start is the ER others Med/surg floor- I'm confused I can't make up my mind. Pls Help! Maria.

Need help with studying???
Its my 3rd week of my junior year in Nursing school.I'm struggling to build a study pattern for myself. My 1st exam grades for Pharm & Health Assessment is a "D" I know I have time to improve on it but I needed to know how to study for NCLEX style exams because that is the exam pattern that my profs. are using for my class exams and I'm struggling with it. I'm a poor test taker on the NCLEX style questions. I want to really work towards improving my grade for these two classes so that I can continue with rest of my semesters more confidently and be successful in all of my upcoming class exams. All through my core classes I've never had a "D" or a "C" so I'm lacking on motivation too after seeing these grades of mine. Pls help. Maria.
