Postpartum fundus height
Where should the fundus be immediately postpartum following a normal delivery of normal size newborn? I think this is at the level of umbilicus as a firm mass But how might not that be effected by a large for gestational age infant? A baby with that laid on one of the mothers side more than midline? An early infant? A mother who has had more than 5 babies vs someone who just delivered her first baby? I looked in my book and it answered the first questions but it just said it can depend on gestational age, single or multiples and primipara or multipara. I'm getting ready to do my l&d Clinicals and would really like to know this information. Thanks for anyone's help :)

What's your grading scale for class?
A= 100 to 93 B= 92 to 84 C= 83 to 76 anything below a 76 is failing I would say, yes the scale is harder but it for the best. It means that all nurses out there are pretty much A or B students. I wouldn't want one that was "average" or below average.

REALLY would like to go to school to become an LPN. Is it possible at my age? I am 37
I think you can do it! I am currently a nursing student at the age of 19 but there are people in my class around the age of 40 or maybe 50s we don't really talk about it. Here something to keep in mind.... Younger people have it easier because they are still in the groove of school and remember lots of things for HS. But then older people have it easier because they have so much more life experience they are more likely to know the vitamins, know rather to use heat or ice and also understand what patients are going though more so then younger student. For example when I do clinical on the l&d floor, I have no idea what they are going though personally only medically and what I read/heard about. Good luck, anyone can do it if they truly want too! Maybe see if going part-time once you start the nursing program is a option.

ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorder as a nurse
Thanks everyone! I am really trying super hard on everything, so many of my classmates kind of laugh or poke fun on how much I study. I guess in the long run it will be well worth it. Now that we are getting into skills too it is better because I get to be up and moving vs just sitting listening to the teacher talk.

Thanks you two, I am getting though it. I kind of tell myself I don't have to be perfect or even get A's, I just need to make it thought it.

ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorder as a nursing student
Any tips from anyone with this problems? I am finding it so far to get though class, focus though the whole test even. I have have ADHD, depression and an anxiety disorder. It is really my ADHD that is the main reason for my problems, at least I think. I am spending so much more than everyone of my classmates yet they do as good or better than me. Any help would be great, thanks!
