Muhlenberg is an accelerated diploma problem. You still take the rn nclex. But its not bsn. You must meet the pre reqs before you begin. They may let u test out of some but i dont know. Work exp doesnt count.

you cannot start the program until those pre requisites are met. the accelerated program is one year. january to decemebr so yes you would have to wait til the next spring. check with the school to see if you can test out of pre reqs. although i dont think you can. you take the nclex A FEW MONTHS AFTER YOU FINISH,. YOU WILL GET A DIPLOMA RN AND AN ASSOCIATES IN SCIENCE. I AM OUT OF COUNTY AND PAID ABOUT 10 THOUSAND A SEMESTER. IT IS VERY TOUGH BUT DO ABLE. IF YOU FAIL YOU CAN JUST GO TO GENERIC PROGRAM ANDF FINISH IN 2 YEARS. IF YOU GO WITH ACCELERATED YOU WILL HAVE CLASS MONDAY- FRIDAY FOR FIRST SEMESTER AND M- THURSDAY FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR. YOU WILL HAVE A 2 WEEK BREAK BETWEEN SUMMER AND FALL.

do not get behind on your studying. your classmates will see the most of you for the year. ask your instructors if you dont understand something. nursing school tests are not like any other tests you' ve seen before. go see the advisor ms campell for advice on tests. let me know if you have more questions

do you think working is at all possible during first semester? do u do clinicals anywhere besides jfk? any other advice?

is anyone in the accelerated rn program at jfk muhlenberg in plainfield? i am starting in january 2013. i would like to know what the course load like? how many days of lecture and clinicals? any feed back is good. thanks
