@StudentEtc, yes that is the syllabus. I know it doesn't say it on it, but she said that's what it was at orientation.

The level 1 coordinator said that the handbook will be on blackboard when it is up and running. The first day of orientation they said we need to know the handbook very well, but I don't remember if they said we would be tested on it. Although, I do know that she said we WILL be tested on the syllabus on the first test. So that might be something worth looking over carefully now while we have the time.

I already bought my navy scrubs on cyber Monday because I got a great deal on them. I fully intend on wearing them as soon as possible. I don't want to have to think about what I'm going to wear to school everyday. Plus, you can't beat the comfort!

@tmlegros, I think the lab coat we have to wear will cover the underwear issue, but if not beige or nude colored underwear blends so you don't see it through clothes. :) I bought Landau cargo scrub pants that are a newer style at Uniforms by Bayou and they seem to be a thicker material. They feel more like pants than pajama bottoms

I was able to register for Ochsner Northshore mornings. I'm thankful I was able to get what I wanted, but glad I logged on early! Did anyone else on here get section 310?

@nurse_van2014, my immunitrax still says records matched. My intuition is telling me to worry, but my advisor and the lady who handles all the immunitrax stuff at the school assured me I am good to go for registration. I think maybe we just have anxiety that we won't get the classes we want. Good luck today to everyone on here. I hope we all get registered successfully!

@Phi823, So you're saying definitely not STPH. Why is that? Just curious.

If it helps, my advisor assured me that they have worked out all the kinks with the LoLA system since the Fall registration. I hope she's right

@tmlegros, I am hoping to take my clinicals at Ochsner Northshore or Slidelll Memorial. Those are the only sites on the northshore that offer the morning classes I need. If I don't get into those classes I'll be heading to the southshore for my clinicals. Hopefully in future clinicals I'll be able to take them at STPH since I live in Covington.

Mine also still says "records matched" but I spoke to the lady at Charity who handles the immunitrax documents and she told me I was good to go for registration. Also, I read on the Charity website that if you log into LoLA and click on "add or drop classes", if you see boxes to type in the CRN number for the class that means you have no registration holds and you may register.

The Spring 2013 Courses and sections have been posted on the Charity website! Hooray!

@KristenNola, I just asked the doctor to print out an immunization record for the vaccines I received and he initialed it. I'm going to upload it to immunitrax, and I guess then it is up to the school to review it.

@tmlegros, I am completely down with carpooling! The only problem will be if we can't coordinate our class/clinical schedules. I was able to go on Charity's website to find the Fall schedule, but I'm not sure if our's will be the same. It might give you an idea though. Click on "current students" then "registration information" then "continuing students" scroll down to "section numbers for Fall 2012" by clicking on Nursing 1 and Pharmacology 1 it will show lecture days/times and clinical days/times/locations.

I am going to the 12pm session today (Thursday). I live in north Covington heading towards Folsom. Sounds like you're closer to Abita

I'll be happy with Lakeview or St. Tammany if it saves me gas! Hopefully we'll find some other northshore students in our class so we can carpool.:)

@Tabby_84, I live on the north shore in Covington. I've also been accepted for the Spring. Can't wait!
