Need help, lacking confidence full of doubt!
Hello, i just want to start off by letting everyone know that I really want to be a nurse. It has been my dream for years! However, I have a problem. I am HORRIBLE at math and anything involving equations and conversions. Throughout high school, for the most part I got good grades. I know college is much different and i am terrified. My memory is horrible, my math skills are just flat out horrendous and I am not quite sure if I would make it in nursing school (that is if I even get in, after taking basics at the community college). I havent even taken the ACT yet, but ive been looking at the practice questions and to put it bluntly.. i suck I always did well on the standardize testing in school, but i guess most of what i learned just didn't stick.. Is there any advice you guys can give me? Has anyone else with my problem succeeded? I just want this so bad, but lately i've been feeling as if im just not capable of doing it. Please help...

The work in nursing school
Hello there, im curious about what type of work is done in nursing school. Is it mainly note taking and writing papers or are there other things such as read and answer the questions type of homework. How are the deadlines? Do they make you do projects(alone or group)? What are labs and clinicals like? Sorry about all the questions i'm just really curious and wanna know all that im getting myself into. Also how is it possible to work during school

What is nursing about?
Im really considering being a nurse for many reasons. Im curious to know how nursing school works, like how hard is it? How hard is it to work and go to school? Also, i wanna know if there's more to nursing than diaper changes and gross stuff. I know theres more to that, but how much of nursing involves the nasty? PLEASE HELP!!

Mcneese BSN Nursing Program
PLEASE HELP! I've always been interested in becoming a nurse, but i fear that i may not be smart enough to make it through the program. I am highly motivated and i have big goals. I was always good in school, with the exception of math. I did not graduate with LaCore4 so I will have to go to Sowela, then Mcneese if I wish to pursue a nursing degree. What i'm really wondering is, how hard are the classes? I know they will be difficult because it's supposed to prepare the students for the NCLEX, but has anyone else had my fears and overcome them? Has anyone had to go to Sowela, then Mcneese? Do you think I should try this or go for something else? Any tips?
