    Hey, I am new to posting to the board but have read many posts before. I am currently attending MTSA, class of 2006. That is great that you received an alternate this year. 4 or 5 of my classmates were alternates and got in. I don't know how many alternates they choose each year. But that is great that you are an alternate; just keep hoping a spot opens up. It is a great school to go to, and from what I heard, the competition was pretty stiff this year. The one student you were referring to was told a week before classes started that he got a spot, so keep hanging in there. Best of luck. JD
