  1. Will a phlebotomy certification help me get a job as an RN in the future?

    I'm a third semester nursing student and I'm considering taking a phlebotomy class at my local community college over the summer to better my knowledge about IV insertion. Basically, I'm just wondering if this certification will better my resume when I graduate nursing school or if it will just be better preparation for me. Also, are there any other certifications I can get while in school to increase my chances of getting a job after graduation. (I already have my CNA)
