  1. Want to make transition to travel nursing

    Hi everyone! I have been working as a critical care nurse on a MICU for almost 2 years now, and I have always wanted to try travel nursing. Before I make the jump, I just want to make sure that I have a good solid critical care foundation and my CCRN. What initially attracted me to travel nursing is that every time my husband and I vacation somewhere, we always wonder what it would be like to live there. So my question is, what are the pros and cons of travel nursing? The plan is to bring my husband along with me. I'm hoping to find a great agency that will be open to me traveling with my husband, along with good benefits and assignments in desirable areas. If anyone has some advice or words of wisdom to share on the subject, I would appreciate it much!
