Floating should make critical care nurses more thankful for their training, and well rounded. It can improve those triageing skills, (determinging which tasks or care should be performed in the little time left.)It gives you a chance to see the patients that you've transfered out and to view their progress. It affords you the oppertunity to network with, and educate your floor nurses. You'd get to meet more people and break the monotony of those beeps, tones and alarms. ------------------
