  1. Thanks man! How's the hob hunt going?!
  2. UPDATE. 7/3/13 5pm I passed my NCLEX RN with 265 questions! PVT works and is legit! :) God bless everyone who's taking it!
  3. I did pass!!! While I was entering my CC info, I was shaking and trembling in fear. But PVT is legit! Thanks for your time in sharing thoughts! Good luck to both of us on the job hunt! :)
  4. Wow that was fast! Did you pay for the quick results? Why is mine not up yet and we both ended at 6pm? OMG this is freaking me out now. :/ I had a boat load of questions you had too, that's why I'm keeping my hopes up that it was a good sign although I had to finish 265! After 75, I just kept on looking at the numbers and started doubting myself.
  5. Yea the questions are a bit similar in terms of presentation. It was more on fundamentals and basic knowledge and recall. It wasn't hard enough that it had me thinking over my feet, but i would say review all areas, some you might recall but not as vivid as trying togo through every content area and that's where Saunders had helped me. God bless and good luck!
  6. When did you take your exam?
  7. Did the PVT 1, 2, and 3 hours after my exhausting 265 item exam!! Got the good pop up and even until now. I was so drained and didn't even take a break since I didnt want to break my accord. Is this reliable even after taking 265 items?! I had tons of SATA that came one after the other, prioritization and exhibits!!! Omg. I'm so anxious. I'm lifting it all up to Him. Do they post the results even after business hours? I took mine july 1 at 2pm ended at 630pm. I am applying for Wisconsin boards. Please enlighten me. Thanks
  8. Hi, I took the CGFNS exam in November but I failed. I scored 387. A little bit over that too reach 411 for passing but unfortunately did not. I live in Madison. I took the exam in Milwaukee. Btw, Can we contact eachother through email? I'd like to ask you some questions regarding this thought. Mine is [email protected]. Thanks!
  9. Hey, @steppybay, thank you so much for all the info and suggestion. So, you mean that passing the NCLEX under IL BON and endorsing my license to WI BON would still need CGFNS and English exams?! WHAT THE. Okay, so I'm taking the CGFNS exam next month. I think I made a good decision by taking the Cerification Program of CGFNS and passing their exam first before taking the NCLEX since it's all gonna be the same thing. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE ENLIGHTENMENT! But one last question though, can I bypass the English exams since I'm already here in the US? How is the possible? Is that the discretion of the WI BON or the CGFNS? Thanks!
  10. I'm a foreign RN (graduated in the Philippines) and now a permanent resident currently living in Wisconsin. I've enrolled for a CP (Certification Program) under CGFNS and I've been scheduled for a CGFNS exam on November. From what I understand, CP means taking the CGFNS exam and an English proficiently test (IELTS/TOEFL) in order to obtain a CGFNS certificate. Is there any way I can bypass the English exam since I'm already living here in Wisconsin? I've been trying to get in touch with the DSPS but I've been just passed around and ended up leaving useless voice mails. Who's going to decide about the bypassing of English test, the BON or the CGFNS (since they're the one issuing the certificate in the first place)? Also, to utilize my waiting time for all of these nursing stuff, I've applied to DSPS for a CNA certification. I've contacted the Pearson Vue about the eligibility route which means DSPS just has to check and verify my RN license so I can take the CNA certification exam. Please leave a comment down below about anything you know about this issue. Thank you so much.

  12. I live in Wisconsin as a permanent resident. Given the change, I'd like to apply for IL BON since they only require CES (they just evaluate your transcripts and decide whether you can take the exam or not). Here in Wisconsin, they require CGFNS exam and English exam which is just HASSLE.

  14. I'm also a permanent resident currently living in Madison. Right now, I'm scheduled for a CGFNS exam on November. I've enrolled for a CP (Certification Program) in CGFNS which means I have to take the qualifying exam and English proficiency test. Next step will be applying for WI BON and NCLEX exam. I know this is a whole lot of hassle, but this is the only way we can be licensed in Wisconsin.
