I was wondering if anyone could tell me about how they balance extensive exercise and (most importantly) proper nutrition/diet while doing busy 12 hour shifts. Any information would be great! Thanks! :)

Do you think it would be beneficial to take an LPN program first and get some experience in that realm before I go for my bachelors?

Hello, I am a twenty-two year old male and I am very much considering a career in nursing. Ever since I was young I always knew I wanted a career that would allow me to directly help people; the thought of saving someones life scares/thrills me. What interests me a lot about nursing is the humility and self-sacrifice that comes with the profession. I know that I will never live my life happily if I don't pursue a career that changes peoples lives for the better. I was hoping that some of the nurses here would take the time to share their experiences in nursing. Be it nursing school, working in different departments (ER, OR, MH...etc), or what have you. Any insight is appreciated! Thanks in advance!
