Hi all! I finally received my letter today! I applied for the traditional program and I live in the Denver metro area. I am super excited to start this new journey with you all!

I would recommend buying the Hesi book (for the exam) and practicing the problems in every section. You have the opportunity to take the HESI twice; just be careful because you will only be able to take it twice within one year. They take a few things into consideration: GPA, health care experience, and of course, the HESI. If you have CNA experience, the chances for you are even greater. I don't have CNA experience however, I did pretty well on the exam and have a good GPA. If you go to the Nursing Information session, they will provide you with a list of "scores" of the people who made it the prior year. GPA, experience, and exam scores all end up in a cumulative "scoring system" or "point system". After you take the exam you can look at your scores and compare those with the ones who made it. You don't know how may points they'll give you for experience, but you will know the points you earn after you take the exam and calculate your GPA. I hope this all makes sense. Good luck to you. Among Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) programs in the College’s jurisdiction, ACC ranked first out of 18 schools. For all similar ADN programs across every jurisdiction in the United States, ACC ranked first out of 614 institutions. We're talking about ACC in Colorado, sorry for the confusion.

Is DSN regionally accredited? UCD, Metro, UNC, and Regis will only accept credits from a regionally accredited school.

I got my offer letter in the mail on the 23rd!
